Sports and Exercise Pre/Rehabilitation

Develop and Improve your Strength

A must for those returning to activity/sport, also those who have been injured and are in need of an effective recovery programme. We also see people for pre-op exercise to enhance the ability to cope post operatively. We can work along side your physiotherapist and after.

Methods

We use our large specially equipped on site gym so you can be assessed effectively. We have a large garden and also use the local park, pitches and tennis courts for progressions. In our books it is no good just giving out exercises on a sheet of paper. It is important for us demonstrate, assist then adapt and progress from recuperation to recovery and beyond.

Our Aim

The implementation of an individual programme to enhance movement, improve and develop strength, power, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and core stability. To address the dynamics, complexities and specifics of sports and activities or simply get you back to a healthier every day life.

Combined Sessions

You may be coming to see us for personal general fitness, pre and post op recovery, specialist posture or biomechanic exercise, which can be a mixed session with a sports massage: Ideal for those returning to sport or activity after time away or who would like to fine tune their performance with concentrated exercise for the areas that need it most., but find they ache after. Very popular with those that find everyday life is causing postural pain and muscle imbalance and if you are returning to activity after illness, injury, pregnancy etc. Can form part of your rehabilitation programme.

Methods

An intense one to one session in our gym or outside combined with a massage to follow. (Offer available)
N.B. Our Sports Physiotherapists work with or have all worked with high performance/professional teams. i.e. Football, Rugby, Athletics, Motor Sport, Golf.
